iSAGE showcases at the 2025 Levono Supplier Quality Forum, driving a new transformation in quality inspection, with embodied intelligence

    On October 16, the “AI-Driven New Journey,Quality for the World” 2025 ICT Industry High-Quality Development Forum,together with Lenovo’s 12th Supplier Quality Forum, was successfully held inChongqing.

    The event brought together more than 100leading enterprises and industry experts from across the ICT value chain toexplore innovative pathways for high-quality development in intelligentmanufacturing.

    As an important strategic partner of LenovoGroup, iSAGE was invited to participate in the forum. During the event, iSAGEpresented its latest achievements in embodied intelligence–driven qualityinspection through a keynote presentation and a live on-site demonstration,highlighting its technological leadership and deep collaboration with Lenovo inadvancing intelligent manufacturing.

Full-Stack Technical Architecture:
Embodied Intelligence Enabling a NewParadigm of Quality Inspection

    During the keynote session, Sophie Cai, CMOof iSAGE, delivered a speech title: "Embodied Intelligence: Powering a NewEngine for Quality Inspection Transformation."

    She outlined three major challengescurrently facing quality inspection in manufacturing:

            1. Cognitive bottlenecks caused by fragmenteddata that is difficult to integrate and generate value from

            2. Physical limitations of manual operationsin terms of efficiency and precision

            3. Execution rigidity, where traditionalinspection equipment struggles to adapt to flexible and diversified productionscenarios


    To address these challenges, iSAGE hasdeveloped a fully integrated “Perception–Decision–Execution” full-stackarchitecture.

    By deeply integrating VLA-based embodiedintelligence models, perception and reasoning models, and LLM-powered dataanalytics, the system enables autonomous decision-making and continuousself-optimization throughout the inspection process.

    At the software level, iSAGE hasindependently developed an integrated “hand–eye–foot–brain” control algorithmand a digital operation and management platform, forming a trusted data chainthat seamlessly connects edge devices with cloud-based systems.

    At the hardware level, the UniversalInspection Station, built on a flexible multi-in-one software–hardwareplatform, supports rapid end-effector switching, vision-based grasping ofrandomly arranged parts, and real-time AI judgment. While executinghigh-precision operations, the system automatically generates analyticalresults, forming a closed-loop inspection workflow. Its modular cellulararchitecture further ensures outstanding scalability.

    When combined with intelligent mobilecomposite robots, the solution enables automated workpiece identification,sorting, grasping, precise transfer, and seamless material feeding and dockingwith inspection stations. This architecture supports multi-SKU generalizationand rapid changeovers in flexible production environments.

    Through deep software–hardware integration,the system achieves high reliability and standardized interoperability withfactory systems—such as Lenovo’s—laying a solid technological foundation forintelligent manufacturing.

“Hand–Eye–Foot–Brain” Integration:
Building a Closed-Loop IntelligentInspection Workflow


    At the forum’s exhibition area, iSAGEshowcased a fully integrated intelligent inspection demonstration platform, vividlypresenting the collaborative operation between the Universal Inspection Stationand the Intelligent Mobile Composite Robot.

    Visitors were able to observe firsthand howrobots leverage advanced vision perception and precise control to achieve intelligentworkpiece recognition, accurate grasping, and automated inspection—experiencinga fully closed-loop workflow integrating mobility, manipulation, andinspection.

    Driven by real industrial needs, iSAGE’ssolutions have been successfully applied in Lenovo’s production scenarios.Traditionally, Lenovo’s quality inspection relied heavily on manual operationssuch as sample preparation, transfer, quantitative dispensing, high-frequencyprecision weighing, and data recording. This approach was labor-intensive,inefficient, and prone to data inconsistency.

    To address Lenovo’s requirements forautomation, data traceability, and standardized operations, iSAGE deployed afull-stack solution centered on humanoid composite robots. The system enablesend-to-end automation—from autonomous navigation and precise picking, to droptesting according to predefined orientations, and automatic transfer tosubsequent processes—without human intervention.

    Following deployment, testing efficiencyincreased by approximately 80%, while inspection data accuracy and traceabilityreached ≥99%, significantly improving process standardization and consistency.

    As a long-term strategic partner of Lenovo,iSAGE continues to deploy intelligent robotic solutions across multiple productionlines. In areas such as quality inspection and flexible manufacturing, bothparties are deepening collaboration and jointly exploring next-generationintelligent manufacturing pathways.
