36Kr reports that Shanghai SAGE Intelligent Technology (ISAGE) has completed a tens of millions A+ round of funding, led by Yuanxiao Huachuang and Sanyi Capital. The funds will be used to accelerate R&D in humanoid robotics, enhance product iteration, expand mass production, and drive global expansion.
Founded in 2017, ISAGE specializes in intelligent mobile composite robots, integrating mobile and industrial robotics for multi-modal object handling, flexible sorting, and intelligent dispatching. Its self-developed controller, operating system, and database enable automation in tasks requiring precision, adaptability, and human-like dexterity.

Composite robots are seeing rapid adoption, with sales in China rising from 185 units in 2017 to 1,169 in 2022 (CAGR ~45%). Modularization and standardization are key trends, allowing quick adaptation to different applications while reducing costs.
For example, in CNC machine tool loading, ISAGE robots combine vision, motion, and AI-driven control to handle materials in tight spaces with high accuracy. In dairy production, ISAGE deployed eight composite robots for automated sampling, integrating with MES & ERP systems for intelligent tracking.
As industrial robotics evolve towards greater intelligence and flexibility, ISAGE is expanding across semiconductors, auto parts, biopharma, FMCG, and new energy, with operations spanning China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Mexico.
